About Marcus Sheff
Marcus Sheff worked as a political reporter at The Nation and as an editor at The Jerusalem Post before establishing a leading strategic and marketing communications firm and heading it for a decade. He led an international business development firm counting global media concerns among its clients. For nearly eight years, he was the Executive Director at the Israel office of The Israel Project, where he instituted and managed groundbreaking programs. He regularly appears on international media, has briefed national leaders including Israel‘s president, cabinet ministers, journalists, diplomats and politicians from around the world. He has lectured widely and testified to the Knesset. He has accompanied Israel’s leaders on official visits. Sheff was a prominent spokesperson for the Israel Defense Forces during the second Intifada, Second Lebanon War and Disengagement. He was born in Manchester, UK and studied Politics and International Relations at the University of Leeds, where he was elected General Secretary of the Leeds University Union. He is married with two children.
