Meaningful Education of Refugee Children Remains Far-Fetched Dream
Uganda has been branded ‘a country with an open-door policy for refugees.’ Under international law, Uganda, as a host country, is under an obligation to protect, promote and implement all human rights and freedoms of all refugees without discrimination. Key among these is the right to education, which is an indispensable component for the realization of many other rights. . . .
